Liège Airport will soon double its photovoltaic production.
In less than a year, more than 7,000 photovoltaic panels will be placed on the roofs of the offices and warehouses of Liège Airport. These panels, added to the cogeneration station of the airport, will allow it to cover 30 percent of its electricity consumption. Nearly 3700 of these panels are already installed and cover an area of nearly 13,000 m², a number that is about to be doubled. The airport is also targeting zero carbon emissions by 2030.
